Quest
Quest is the University of Waterloo's student information system. It's used to send applications (and Admission Information Forms), check your schedule, pay your bills and view your grades (and more).
Quest is based on Oracle's PeopleSoft Campus Solutions
History
Around late 2000, the university began migrating its data (including 250,000 student records over 43 years) to PeopleSoft, and graduate students were already using Quest for course registration by August 2001.
Since then, Quest has been the central authority for student administration, continuously updated and integrated with other campus systems. As of 2022, it runs on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (source), providing web-based access to students, faculty, and staff. This also helps ensure Lawnmower Larry Ellison's plans to take over the world are well-funded.
