Steam tunnels
Steam tunnels, also known as the service tunnels, are an underground network that connect many buildings on the University of Waterloo campus. Originally constructed to house and protect the university’s centralized heating system, these tunnels allow steam, hot water, and other utilities to be routed efficiently across campus. They're also apparently a blast to explore.
